As Certified Pastoral Counselors in prayer ministry, inner healing, and deliverance we have many times watched the love and compassion of the Father through Jesus work to deliver his children for those things that oppress them. Jesus came, not only for our salvation, but also so that we could have an abundant life (John 10:10) and fullness of joy (John 15:11) -- not when we get to heaven, but here and now. If we are not experiencing these in increasing measure there may be things that, in the hands of our enemy, are stealing, killing, or destroying what Jesus paid a high price to give us. Often it is the simplest of things that rob us of life and joy, things we can not see but others can. These things rob us us of the joy that should be ours in relationships, and especially in marriage. Why allow yourself to be robbed of these things when Jesus wants to set you to enjoy them freely (Isaiah 61). Many times, God speaks to us of the hidden issues of our heart that rob us of joy and an abundant life through dreams. Pay attention to these dreams because they represent His timing in your life.
